This page defines incident severity expectations and communication practices.
Severity Bands¶
- Sev 1: critical outage or data-risk event requiring immediate response.
- Sev 2: major degradation with business impact and urgent remediation.
- Sev 3: localized or moderate issue with planned remediation.
- Sev 4: minor issue or request tracked for backlog scheduling.
